Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospitality and Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and property management, with a passion for sustainability and community engagement. This role involves managing guest accommodations, coordinating events, overseeing maintenance, and implementing waste and energy management protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of 10 Airbnb bedrooms, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction.
Greet clients and conduct tours for prospective guests and event clients.
Manage check-in/check-out processes and address guest inquiries promptly.
Event Space Coordination:
Coordinate bookings and logistics for the 100-person event space.
Collaborate with clients to plan and execute events, ensuring all requirements are met.
Maintain the event space to high standards, ensuring readiness for all functions.
Operational Oversight:
Implement and monitor waste management protocols to ensure sustainability and compliance.
Manage energy consumption, seeking opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
Utilize property management software and tech platforms (e.g., Guesty, Properly, Archie, Google Suite, Dropbox, ClickUp) for administrative tasks and reporting.
Team Leadership:
Supervise housekeeping and maintenance staff, providing training and support as needed.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and timely services.
Qualifications
Proven experience in hospitality management, property management, or a related field.
Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple operations simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and French.
Proficiency in property management software and other relevant tech platforms.
Knowledge of sustainable practices in waste and energy management is an asset.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
